'It's My Story And It's Sticking To Me' workshop in Cary March 15

Have you ever wondered why? Why you can't lose the weight and keep it off? Why you can't get and stay clean and sober? Why your relationships all end the same way--badly? Countless times each, we make choices based on what we believe about ourselves, others, and even God (Spirit, the Universe, our Higher Power). According to Jerry Troyer, author of “Coming Out to Ourselves, Admitting, Accepting, and Embracing Who We Truly Are”, these choices are often based on feelings of shame, guilt, and regret and can keep us from expressing and experiencing all he good that Life has for us. Self-defeating behaviors and patterns can express in or be the result of a messy divorce, troubling financial challenge, confusion or shame about our sexual orientation, feelings of abandonment or rejection from being adopted, sexual abuse, or other equally difficult life experiences.

Rev. Jerry Troyer will present his interactive workshop, “It's My Story And It's Sticking To Me” at the Center for Spiritual Evolution, 204 Spring St., in Cary, Illinois on Friday, March 15 from 7 to 9 PM. Suggested donation $20.

Rev. Jerry Troyer is the senior minister of Joyful Living Church in San Diego, and the author of the new book, titled Coming Out to Ourselves…Admitting, Accepting and Embracing Who We Truly Are. A native of San Diego, Rev. Jerry began studying Religious Science and New Thought in 1990. In December 2008, he was lovingly released from his full-time secular job with a technology market research company, and he stepped into full-time ministry.
