Vehicle hits building at DePaul’s Naperville campus

A male driver was taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries Monday morning after the car he was driving struck a building that is owned by BP but houses DePaul University’s Naperville campus.

Authorities said the accident happened about 7:40 a.m. at 150 W. Warrenville Road in Naperville. Rescue crews extricated the man from his vehicle and took him to a hospital, Naperville Sgt. Steve Schindlbeck said.

It wasn’t immediately clear if any citations were issued, and police had no estimate of the damage. Further details weren’t immediately available.
