B.R. Ryall YMCA of Northwestern DuPage County Elects Board Members

The B.R. Ryall YMCA, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility has appointed new board members at its annual meeting.

New board members named to serve a three year term are Roger A. Ritzman and John F. Snyder:

Roger Ritzman is a Wheaton resident with his wife, Barbara, and their three children. Ritzman is a senior partner in his law firm and concentrates his practice in the Local Government and Municipal Law areas in DuPage County. Work experiences and board affiliations include serving as General Counsel for the DuPage County Bar Association, Arbitrator for the Circuit Court of DuPage County, and as past director and board president of the B.R. Ryall YMCA.

John F. Snyder is a Glen Ellyn resident with his wife, Jean Ostrander, and their daughter. Snyder is Vice President, Development, with Novation Industries, and is an Adjunct Professor in Finance at Benedictine University. His involvement with other boards includes work on the District 87 School Board Finance Committee. Snyder is passionate about the YMCA and believes its presence is critical to the health of the community.

“Roger and John bring a wealth of experience to the board as well as a commitment to the Y’s mission and role as a leading charity in Northwestern DuPage County”, said B.R. Ryall YMCA board president, Harley Jordan.

Board members John Cochrane, Benno Friedrich, Stacey Huels, and Joel Riley whose terms expired were recognized for their service and commitment to the Y. Returning for an additional three year term are Matt Morse and Mike Tracy, both of Glen Ellyn.
