Youth chess offered at Grayslake library

Chess is among the youth programming to be offered starting in March at Grayslake Area Public Library. The library’s chess club is scheduled to gather from 4 to 5 p.m. March 1, 15 and 22. The program is for experienced players and those who want to learn. It also is an opportunity to meet new friends, improve problem-solving skills and enjoy a challenge. Ages 8 and up are invited to the program, which has limited space. For more information, contact head of youth services, Patricia Greedan, at (847) 223-5313 or pgreedan@grayslake.info.
