Support the arts at Elgin Opera fundraiser

Enjoy French cuisine and help support local opera at Elgin Opera’s eighth annual benefit dinner and show Sunday, Feb. 24, at L’Eiffel Bistrot & Wine Bar in the Arboretum of South Barrington, 100 W. Higgins, Suite Q-1.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for a cocktail hour with cash bar, followed by a dinner, live and silent auctions, and a gala show featuring 2012 shows, Vocal Competition winners, and a sneak preview of the April production.

Performers include: William Kilberry of Arlington Heights; Alyah Starks, Brittany Albrecht and Kimberly Albrecht (executive producer), all of Barrington; Susan Dennis (artistic director), Jarod Patton, David Bogaert and Luke Bogaert, all of Bartlett; Roxann Ferguson of Chicago; Dave Carmona, Jim Hinton, Meghan Smeenge and Sophia Peterson, all of Elgin; Oscar Menoyo of Hoffman Estates; Dr. Warren Kammerer of Inverness; Sharon Starr of Libertyville; Danielle Floberg, Jill Popp, Anna Flynn and Saori Tomura, all of Palatine; Sarah Sipll of Plainfield; and Amie Roeder of Geneva.

Admission is $50 per guest, and fully tax deductible. Send name(s) and check, payable to “Elgin Opera,” to: 350 Park St., Suite 207, Elgin, IL 60120, or simply drop off your check at L’Eiffel Bistrot. To charge tickets, call (847) 695-5014 and leave a message.
