Yingling to open constitutent service office in Hainesville

State Rep. Sam Yingling invites constituents to join him for the opening of his new full-time constituent service office in Hainesville on Friday, Feb. 22.

The open house will be held at the office, 20 W. North St., from 3 to 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The office will regularly be open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Yingling represents the 62nd District, which contains portions of Gages Lake, Grayslake, Hainesville, the Round Lake communities, and Wauconda.

“My most important job as a new state representative is to be available to the people of this district,” he said. “Whether my constituents are concerned about issues facing the state, have ideas for new legislation or need help from a state agency, I want to be there for them, and that’s what my constituent service office will be doing full time.”

The new office will share space with the village of Hainesville Department of Public Works.

“During these challenging times, elected officials need to work together for the good of their constituents,” Yingling said. “I appreciate Mayor Linda Soto and the Hainesville board of trustees’ commitment to intergovernmental cooperation.”

The constituent service office open house will give constituents a chance to learn about programs and state services, as well as meet the office staff.

For more information on the open house, contact Yingling at repsamyingling@gmail.com.
