CCU Hosts Free Seminar: “Women, Money & Power”

Waukegan, IL, January 29, 2013: In today's economy, many women have become the primary bread winner for the household, while many others control the family budget. Good money management includes understanding best practices for retirement planning, as well as the knowing what products are available to help achieve your retirement goals. With that in mind, Consumer Credit union (CCU; $585 Million, Waukegan, IL), in cooperation with Allianz Life Financial Services LLC, is hosting a no-cost educational workshop, “Women, Money & Power.”

The workshop, headed by John Hennessy (pictured right), CRPC®, Regional Vice President of Allianz Life Financial Services, will outline the steps required to help achieve the income level one needs in retirement. The workshop also discusses how women can empower themselves to make well informed decisions where money is concerned. Mr. Hennessy is well-versed in helping financial professionals create retirement strategies that meet long term financial objectives. He'll share his 21+ years of expertise in this area with those attending the workshop.

“In today's ever-changing times, it's critical that those managing their family's money align themselves with the necessary tools to ensure financial success for their future,” said Sean M. Rathjen, CCU President. “Developing the right investment strategy requires fundamental financial know-how – those attending our workshop will receive valuable information on February 21st! This is a great opportunity to gather the information necessary to confidently move forward and navigate the best path to financial security.”
