Sox coaches help kids at Lisle training center

Chicago White Sox coaches Bobby Thigpen and Daryl Boston visited with aspiring players at the Bulls/Sox Academy in Lisle Jan. 23 in advance of appearances this weekend at Sox Fest.

Thigpen, the team’s new bullpen coach, spent time with young players and shared pitching advice. Boston, who will coach first base for the Sox this year, watched and coached kids as they practiced at the training facility.

Afterward both coaches — along with former Sox outfielders Dan Pasqua, academy director, and Mike Huff, academy vice president — answered questions from young players.
