ARAMARK to provide catering services at Stephens Convention Center

Hospitality services provider ARAMARK, of Rosemont, said it will partner with the village of Rosemont to provide comprehensive food and beverage programs at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment, which will operate under the name Rosemont Catering Co., will provide a full range of food and beverage services, including catering and retail food outlets, for the convention center’s 840,000 square feet of exhibition space, conference center and ballroom.

The announcement expands ARAMARK’s relationship with Rosemont, which dates back to 1979, when ARAMARK began managing the food and beverage program for Allstate Arena. Today, in addition to the arena, ARAMARK also provides concessions for The Dome at the Ballpark and The Ballpark at Rosemont.

“The village of Rosemont has had a long-standing and successful partnership with ARAMARK and we are pleased to continue this relationship with them as our partner at the convention center,” said Christopher R. Stephens, executive director of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

Scott McGinn, district manager of ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment added the company “looks forward to working closely with the center’s leadership to further enhance the building’s reputation of providing the Chicago area with a top quality food and beverage experience for meeting, trade show and convention attendees and other event guests.”
