Fremont Township CERT training

Fremont Township’s Community Emergency Response Team, or CERT, is seeking volunteers and is hosting training classes in February and March. Classes are scheduled for: Feb. 19 and 26, 7 to 10 p.m.; March 2, 8 to noon; March, 5, 12, 19 and 26, 7 to 10 p.m. They will be in the lower level of the Fremont Township Administrative Offices, 22376 W. Erhart Road, Mundelein. Topics to be discussed include: disaster preparedness, disaster fire suppression, disaster medical operations, and CERT organization. Anyone interested in participating must contact Judy Hammel, training committee chairwoman, at 3jham@earthlink.net for information and registration. There is no fee to participate.
