Buffalo Grove Village President Jeffrey Braiman said he has filed a police report against former Trustee Lisa Stone.

The report was filed Sunday, hours after he received a 2:30 a.m. phone call from Stone, who was recalled in 2010 after a stormy term that began in 2009.

Braiman said Stone initially started to leave a message -- in which she identified herself as "former Trustee Lisa Stone, the honest one" -- before Braiman's wife, Sue, picked up the phone.

According to the police report, when Braiman's wife asked, "Who is this?" she determined that it was Stone and then told her, "How dare you call. Go to hell," and then hung up the phone.

The report said Braiman told police that "the situation with Ms. Stone appears to be escalating." About two weeks ago, Stone showed up at his office in Arlington Heights, when Braiman said Stone wanted to give him her business card for her sex toy business, the report said.

The report said Braiman wished "to pursue criminal complaints."

When contacted by police, the report said, Stone was advised that should she continue to contact the Braimans, she will face criminal charges.

According to the report, she told police that she called Braiman because the village website was not working and, because he is an elected official, he should be available in an emergency.

Stone, when contacted Tuesday night, said she is considering filing a complaint about Braiman's wife.

"I'm going to come in and file a complaint about her," Stone said. "She shouldn't tell me to go to hell."

As for calling Braiman in the middle of the night, she said, "People call me at all times because I am available."

Braiman said he is considering whether to pursue further action.

"This isn't the first time she has contacted an elected official at 2:30 in the morning," he said Tuesday night.
