Green Bay beats Loyola of Chicago 58-45

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Jordan Fouse had 13 points, 11 rebounds and seven steals Wednesday night and Green Bay never trailed in beating Loyola of Chicago 58-45.

Keifer Sykes scored 11 points and contributed nine assists as the Phoenix (7-9, 1-2) won their Horizon League home opener after losing at Detroit and Wright State. Brennan Cougill added 10 points for Green Bay.

Loyola made just five shots in the first half, shooting 19 percent, and trailed 28-12 at the break. Devon Turk was the only player in double figures for the Ramblers (10-5, 1-2) with 11 points.

Loyola, which had won its previous three road games, ended up at 32 percent from the field while Green Bay shot 45 percent.
