St. Charles’ spring art show deadline Jan. 15

The St. Charles Fine Art Show artist application deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 15. Medium accepted include clay/ceramics, mixed media, fiber (nonwearable), fine art jewelry, fine art photography, glass, painting, sculpture, and wood. Artists must submit four slides of their work, and one booth slide. For more information, and to apply, visit www.zapplication.org.

The 15th annual St. Charles Fine Art Show occurs on Memorial Day weekend (rain or shine) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 25 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 26. The show has a Purchase Award program, and also will award over $6,000 in merit awards in 2013. Annually, more than 100 professional artists are selected to participate. The mission of the Downtown St. Charles Partnership is to enhance the economic viability and to preserve the character and beauty of Downtown St. Charles.
