Once again representatives of the city of Chicago are trying to punish the rest of Illinois for the city’s failure to control crime in the city and Cook County. For years the politicians have refused to implement proper measures to control the growth of gangs and instead have treated gang members as lost little boys that need to be pampered instead of being thrown in prison.

After 506 murders in the city in one year, the city’s politicians wish to remove downstate’s only means of protecting themselves from the city predators by making guns illegal.

When all are disarmed we will all become victims just like the citizens of America’s deadliest city. Keep electing ineffective representatives in the city, men and women of no courage, and continue the downward spiral brought by socialist policies and handcuffed police.

Aided by liberal news media and by declaring the city as a sanctuary for illegals that operate the drug businesses under the direction of foreign cartels, the city’s politicians are complicit in the murder and destruction of a once great city.
