Pay for the chaos if you want guns
OK, fine, have armed security at every school. And tax every gun and ammo sold at 100 percent. It’s only fair that the folks who support the NRA and gun industry pay for the added expense. The outcry, “Oh, but why should I, a law-abiding gun person, pay the tax?” doesn’t cut it anymore. If you support the gun industry then it’s your obligation to pay for the chaos it creates, and the added security needed to protect the innocent. Cook County’s Toni Preckwinkle had it right. Oh, and isn’t it the gun folks, the NRA, and the Tea Party that clamor for smaller government?
