Sunset Dance now enrolling 2013 recital classes

Enrollment is now open for Sunset Dance Academy’s 2013 recital classes at the Geneva Park District. Children ages 2½ and older will build confidence, teamwork skills, coordination and showmanship as they prepare for their stage debut. This session begins Friday, Jan. 5 and ends with performances at Geneva High School’s auditorium May 18-19.

Participants can choose from more than 80 classes, including Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Lyrical, Tiny Toes (non-recital class for toddlers), Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Irish Step Dance, Musical Theatre, Pointe and Acro.

Sunset Dance Academy offers affordable performance opportunities, as recital costumes are included in program fees. Parents are asked to attend a 5-minute meeting during their child’s first class, where participants will be fitted for costumes. Picture forms, videos, tickets and more information about performances will be available in April.
