This is a photo of a stained-glass window taken at Bethany Lutheran Church in Dundee. I took itÊduringÊthe Dickens in Dundee festival. What stained glass identifies to me is the autism spectrum; the variances, barriers and beauty that comes from personalÊbreakthrough. The opaque window represents to me the communication barriers that can occur between the autistic person and the neuro-typical world. Allison M. Kramer of Carpentersville
A photo taken in May of lady year while visiting Matthiessen State Park. Heavy rains had fallen the day previous to my visit. Mild temperature calm winds and the presence of ground fog combined with damp shady moss laden sandstone walls to produce a scene so tranquil that I didn’t want to leave. The fog captured the light beams and the waterfall was soothing to the ears. Just an outright perfect scene Tony Pocewicz of Carpentersville
