Stop spending more than Illinois has

What do you do when you are the governor of a state that is one of the biggest laughingstocks in the country? Well, you raise the vehicle license fee of course. It’s just not enough to have the largest sales tax in the country. When are Illinois leaders going to realize the can’t increase fees, underfund pensions and tax their way out of this mess?

Everyone wants a piece of the pie but they need to realize that the pie is only so big. It’s simple economics. My checks are getting smaller and my bills/taxes are getting larger. Therefore, in order to make ends meet we spend less as a family. If families spend less, there is no growth and we are back into a recession.

The residents of Illinois are being bled dry. I just want to know when the people of Illinois are going to get tired of all this nonsense and stop voting career politicians back into office. My family strives to live within our means. I really wish Illinois would do the same. It’s time to put this to an end.
