Local artists can sell works at Harper College boutique

Local artists from communities served by Harper College are invited to submit their works to be sold at Studio V, a student-run, original works boutique at Harper College, Algonquin and Roselle roads, Palatine.

Studio V is a brick and mortar storefront launched by students in merchandising, design, business and arts classes. Students will experience the real-world retail industry while showcasing both student and local artist creations. The boutique will offer a wide array of locally designed work including jewelry, fashion items, accessories, sculpture, art, one-of-a-kind pieces.

The boutique is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 5 p.m., Saturdays. After closing for the holidays on Friday, Dec. 21, they will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
