Barrington shows its depth

Barrington's depth showed in the relay meet it hosted Saturday, as the Broncos edged Lake Forest to win the Red Division.

Barrington finished with 80 points and Lake Forest had 70, ahead of Naperville Central (67), Stevenson (66), Naperville North (47), Evanston (40) and St. Charles East (28).

In the White Division, Fenwick (86) led the way ahead of Libertyville (77), Lyons (74), Lake Park (68), Fremd (56) and Rockford Guilford (27).

Barrington won the 100 free, 200 frosh-soph medley, 200 free and 300 fly relays.

Lake Forest broke the pool record in the 400 free relay by winning in 3:10.96.

Libertyville was a White Division winner in the 400 medley, the 4x100 IM, the 300 fly and the 300 back. The Wildcats' 400 free relay won in 3:16.59.
