No injuries after car crashes into Naperville eye care center

No one was hurt when a car crashed into a Naperville eye care center Friday, firefighters said.

The accident happened just before 1 p.m. at Rosin Eyecare, 705 E. Ogden Ave. Firefighters arrived within minutes to find a late-model Buick Sedan lodged in the lobby.

Firefighters extricated the driver, who refused medical treatment, from the wreckage. Officials said none of the four employees at the center was hurt.

Authorities were on the scene for about two hours as structural reinforcements were brought in to make the building safe for re-entry.

Firefighters estimated damage at $50,000. They said the car crashed through an exterior wall and went about five feet into the lobby.
