Aurora police looking for armed robbers

Aurora police are asking for assistance in catching two men who robbed a sandwich shop late Tuesday.

Spokesman Dan Ferrelli said two black males entered the shop in the 300 block of East Indian Trail about 8 p.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money.

Ferrelli said the female clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the men, who then fled on foot.

The man who demanded money was described as around 25 years old, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing roughly 175 pounds. He was wearing a red coat with gray pants.

The man who displayed the gun also appeared to be about 25 years old. He was about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed about 150 pounds.

Callers to Crime Stoppers are anonymous and qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrests.
