Pattern of burglaries reported in Schaumburg
Schaumburg police have identified a pattern of residential burglaries stretching across a specific area of the village.
Between Nov. 22 and 26 there were three burglaries and two attempted burglaries within three blocks both north and south of Weathersfield Way between Walnut Lane and Roselle Road. In four cases, entry was gained or attempted by kicking in a door. The fifth home was entered through an unlocked window.
