Allegro choir presents concert in Palatine

Holiday Concert to be performed 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2

Palatine Park District’s Allegro Adult Choir presents its annual holiday concert, “Sing We Now This Festive Day,” at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood St., Palatine. Under the direction of Brent Boyens, Allegro performs a wide variety of music ranging from classical to Broadway show tunes.

This year’s holiday program includes the following:

Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door. Tickets can be purchased through the box office at (847) 202-5222 or online at www.cuttinghall.org. The box office is also open Wednesday through Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and one hour before performance start time. The Cutting Hall Box Office charges a $1 per order fee for all in-person or phone transactions, and a $1.50 fee for all online transactions.

The Allegro Adult Choir welcomes experienced singers as well as singers with limited choral experience. The choir meets 7:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, at Community Center, 250 E. Wood St., Palatine. A new session begins Jan. 16, and their spring concert is scheduled for May 3. Complete details can be found in the Palatine Park District Winter Catalog, available Nov. 28.
