Palatine Jaycees to host 55th annual Christmas tree sale

The Palatine Jaycees will host their 55th annual Christmas tree sale from Friday, Nov. 23, to Sunday, Dec. 16, at the Palatine Park District Aquatic Center parking lot, 340 E. Palatine Road.

Sale hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. A variety of fresh-cut, long and short needle trees, wreaths and garland will be available at special pricing.

Proceeds will help individuals and civic groups throughout the Palatine area. A mailbox in the parking lot will be set up for children to mail a letter to Santa, as well. Letters dropped off by Dec. 14 will receive responses. Santa will visit the parking lot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 8 and Dec. 9.
