Hanover Twp. wins award for senior services, programming
The Illinois Township Association of Senior Citizen Services Committees recently awarded Bartlett-based Hanover Township “Township of the Year” at the annual Township Officials of Illinois conference in Springfield. Trustee Howard Krick accepted the award. The association promotes cooperation and sharing of resources and programming information among township senior service providers. Earlier this year, the Hanover Township Senior Center received accreditation from the National Institute of Senior Centers, becoming the first township-run center and only the sixth center in Illinois to gain accreditation.
