Ashly Metcalf Exhibit at COD's Wings Gallery through Dec. 13

An exhibition of work by artist and College of DuPage graduate Ashly Metcalf is on display through Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Wings Student Art Gallery in the Student Services Center, Room 2210 at the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Metcalf uses mainly yarn to create chaotic sculpture, resulting in the manipulation of linear lines in three-dimensional space, materializing into anything from geometric forms, patterns and webs to ideas of space, time and dimensions. Much of her work exploits the knitting processes and spatial relationships.

The gallery is open noon to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
