Harper falls in fifth-place game

The Harper College women’s soccer team wrapped up its participation in the NJCAA tournament with a 2-1 loss to Holyoke Community College (Mass.) in the fifth-place game Sunday morning in Dryden, N.Y.

Top-ranked Mohawk Valley (N.Y.) earned the national title with a 4-1 victory over Gloucester (N.J.) in the championship game.

Harper’s Devan Swank (Fremd) was named to the all-tournament team.
