What is Antioch supervisor up to?

The Antioch Township supervisor also served as president of the beleaguered Antioch Rescue Squad (ARS).

The Antioch Township supervisor appoints the board members of the First Fire Protection District of Antioch Township. The First Fire Protection District of Antioch Township has recently declined, with the expense to be incurred by the Village of Antioch, to equip their vehicles with the Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipment necessary to allow cross utilization of Fire Fighting / Emergency Service resources within the township.

The First Fire Protection District of Antioch Township is discussing entering into a contract with the aforementioned beleaguered ARS.

Are the Antioch Township supervisor and his hand-picked First Fire Protection District Board Members placing the safety of every Antioch Township resident behind the interests of the ARS? Are the Antioch Township supervisor and his hand-picked First Fire Protection District Board Members concerned that township residents may realize that the placement of ALS equipment on all township firefighting equipment eliminates the need for the duplication of services provided by the ARS and Kurtz Ambulance?
