Also, Oscar Vega, 18, and an unnamed 17-year-old juvenile, both from Waukegan, were charged with misdemeanor mob action and battery following the attack in the 900 block of Glenwood Avenue at 5:21 p.m. Tuesday.

The 16-year-old was charged as an adult, but was remanded to the Hulse Juvenile Detention Center near Vernon Hills, authorities said. He is held in lieu of $250,000.
