Grace period registration

Grace period registration for the Nov. 6 General Elections ends Saturday, Nov. 3. Lake County residents may grace register at the Lake County Central Permit Facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville. Residents of Waukegan, North Chicago, Beach Park, Zion, and Park City are also served at the county clerk’s main office at 18 N. County St., Waukegan. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registering under grace provisions allows county residents to register for the first time or update a new address in Lake County. New registrants must be U.S. citizens, residents of their precinct for 30 days before Election Day, 18 years old on or before the election, and are required to provide two forms of identification.
