‘Chicks, Cars and Cupcakes’:
Women looking to purchase a vehicle are urged to attend the “Chicks, Cars and Cupcakes” automotive event on Tuesday, Oct. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Showcourt at Gurnee Mills, 6170 W. Grant Ave., Gurnee. It is sponsored by Great Lakes Credit Union and Waukegan Tire and Supply. This exclusive event for women will feature Jody DeVere, CEO of www.askpatty.com, and other female automotive experts who will discuss informational topics such as purchasing or leasing a vehicle, automobile safety and regular car maintenance. While the event is free, seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to register at www.glcu.org. There will be complimentary cupcakes for all attendees.
