Mundelein parent police academy:
The Mundelein Police Department hosts its third Parent Police Academy on Wednesday, Oct. 24. This program will be held every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for four weeks. Topics for the classes include domestic issues, drug education, gang education, and Internet safety. This academy is specifically designed for parents of teenagers ages 13 and up. The program is free and class size is limited to the first 30 parents who are village of Mundelein residents. If you are interested in attending, contact Jennifer Marshall at (847) 9683-3770.
