Forum Sunday on issues affecting people with disabilities
Four suburban state legislators will discuss issues affecting people with disabilities, at a forum held 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 at St. Simon Church, 717 W. Kirchoff Road, Arlington Heights. Sponsored by Illinois Friends for St. Coletta, the forum is co-sponsored by Clearbrook Center, the Countryside Association of Palatine, Avenues to Independence of Park Ridge and Little City in Palatine. Legislators will discuss new laws for Medicaid, the state’s finances and the state’s present and future plans for the disabled. Attending are state Sen. Matt Murphy and state Reps.
