COD hosts '3+1 College Fair' Oct. 23

The College of DuPage Admissions and Outreach office will host a "3+1 College Fair" on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 1 to 6 p.m. in the Student Services Center (SSC) Atrium.

During the event, students and community members will learn about the College's new 3+1 program that provides an opportunity for current students and alumni to earn a bachelor's degree on COD's campus from a partnering university. Presentations about the 3+1 program will be provided at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the SSC 2201.

“The 3+1 program at College of DuPage offers a very affordable, accessible opportunity for students to complete a four-year degree right here on our campus,” said Admissions and Outreach Coordinator Julie Marlatt. “This fair brings all of these resources together for current and potential students and COD alumni to ask university representatives questions and learn about the 3+1 program as an option for their future.”

Students enrolled in the 3+1 program complete three years of COD classes and one year from a partnering university taught at the College's main campus in Glen Ellyn. During the fair, representatives will be on-hand to answer questions and provide information about their bachelor's programs offered at COD.

Current degrees available through the 3+1 program include:

B.A. in Management, B.S. in Nursing Benedictine University

B.S. in Nursing online and Dual Degree Program, Governors State University

B.A. in Criminal/Social Justice, B.A. in Fire Service Administration, B.S. in Computer Science, and an Enhanced 2+2 B.A. in Education, Lewis University
