Forest candidate has handle on the issues

The forest preserves of DuPage County deserve the protection and leadership of Shannon Burns. She has trained with places such as the Morton Arboretum to understand land management and the protection of valuable ecosystems and open space.

Shannon understands the importance of preserving habitat, providing a location for human recreation and considering the needs of stormwater control all with a watchful eye on the mission of the forest preserve district. Her views on fiscal stewardship are conservative regarding expenses of your tax dollars.

She fosters public involvement for sharing thoughts on forest preserve issues and actions. Shannon has been attending forest preserve meetings for over three years to have a perspective on the important issues faced there.

The Sierra Club (the oldest and one of the most respected environmental organizations in the U.S.) wholeheartedly endorses Shannon for this critical position. Please join me in voting for her for District 6 commissioner.
