A fire at a motorcycle repair shop in Batavia late Thursday resulted in roughly $110,000 in damages, according to a Batavia Fire Department official.

Diesel’s Service & Repair, 847 E. Wilson, had about $50,000 in damages to 10 to 15 motorcycles, $40,000 in losses of tools and equipment, and about $20,000 in damage to the building, Acting Battalion Chief Scott Hogan said.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of fire remains under investigation, Hogan said.

Smoke was reported about 7 p.m. and fire departments from Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles and Elburn responded. The fire was extinguished in about 15 minutes, Hogan said.
