DuPage photographers break out the big guns
Each week’s DuPage County Neighbor section includes at least one entry in our Photo Finish contest.
Our photo staff picks some of their favorite submissions to run each week and then one overall monthly winner.
If you’d like to try your hand at submitting a photo of your own for consideration, email it in .jpg format with at least 300 dpi resolution to ssanders@dailyherald.com.
Include your name, address and phone number, plus a description of where you took the photo and the occasion.
The monthly winner will receive a $50 gift certificate, good at PJ’s Camera, Pickwick Place Plaza, 662 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn.

Todd A. Sherlock of Wheaton says he calls this shot Hawk-Eye. It was taken on one of my walks at Herrick Lake (Forest Preserve) in July, he says.
