Suspicious incident Sunday in Mill Creek subdivision near Geneva

Kane County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating an incident Sunday night in the Mill Creek subdivision near Geneva in which a man pulled up in a car and asked a 10-year-old girl if she’d ever seen a grown man naked, authorities said.

The man never got out of his car and the girl reported the incident right away, sheriff’s police said Monday.

The incident occurred shortly before 6:45 p.m. near Dobson and Callighan lanes, authorities said.

Deputies interviewed the girl and several witnesses and describe the person as a white male in his 30s with dark, shoulder length hair. He might have a goatee, was possibly wearing sunglasses and was driving a black, full sized four-door sedan with a loud muffler.

Sheriff’s deputies did not make any arrests. Residents are encouraged to call 911 if they see anyone matching this description.
