Daily Herald report

Jacobs d. Grayslake North: Alyssa Ehrhardt had 10 kills and 6 aces as Jacobs won 25-13, 25-14 in Fox Valley Conference crossover action. Taylor Lauder had 10 assists for the Golden Eagles (6-2), Kassie Kasper had 6 digs and Mackie Traub added 7 assists and 2 aces.

Prairie Ridge d. Huntley: Erin Lyman had 4 kills and 9 digs, Rachel Shores added 10 digs and Emily Westermeyer added 4 kills and 7 digs but Huntley lost a tough FVC Valley match 23-25, 25-20, 25-14. Kelsey DeWulf had 15 assists for the Red Raiders (3-5, 0-1).

McHenry d. Dundee-Crown: Steph Mahsamen had 8 kills and 18 digs and Lauren Lococo added 8 kills and 9 digs but Dundee-Crown fell 25-18, 25-27, 25-22 in Fox Valley Conference Valley Division play. Sam Pagano (5 kills), Jillian Hostetler (5 kills), and Cori Eischen (22 assists, 8 digs) also contributed for the Chargers (1-2, 0-1).

DeKalb d. Harvest Christian: Jordan Sollers had 9 kills, 13 assists and 11 digs and Katelyn Floyd added 9 assists and 7 digs but Harvest Christian fell 20-25, 25-11, 25-21 in nonconference action. Sydney Doby had 4 kills and 2 blocks for the Lions (5-3), Sarah Kott added 6 kills and Jade Martinez had 19 digs.
