Wis. woman accused of driving drunk with 1-yr-old
JANESVILLE, Wis. — Janesville police say a Beloit woman who was driving drunk with a 1-year-old child in her vehicle crashed into a light pole. The child wasn’t hurt.
Police were called to the scene of the crash Saturday just before 3 a.m. Officers say the 32-year-old driver failed field-sobriety tests and admitted to drinking prior to the crash.
Police say they found an open bottle of vodka in the vehicle.
The woman’s 1-year-old child was examined at a hospital. No injuries were found.
The woman was arrested on three tentative charges that included third-offense drunken driving and having open intoxicants in a vehicle.
