Wauconda lifts outdoor watering ban

The temporary outdoor watering ban issued for Wauconda on July 9 due to the drought has been lifted and regular outdoor water conservation measures are in effect. Properties with odd-numbered addresses are permitted to water on odd-numbered calendar days and properties with even-numbered addresses are permitted to water on even-numbered calendar days. However, to assist with conservation, outdoor water use is only allowed between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. until further notice. To receive updates on village-related issues, village officials ask residents to sign up for e-News on the village website.
