State Bank of the Lakes announces scholarship winners

State Bank of the Lakes announced the recipients of Community Scholarship Awards toward two-year or four-year programs of study to students in the community.

Two students from Antioch-Lake Villa Area High School District 117, Cameron Wickersheim of Antioch Community High School and Tanya Stanley of Lakes Community High School, were awarded $2,500 scholarships to the College of Lake County in Grayslake.

Will Brewster of Grayslake Central High School, Johnny Rodriguez of Grayslake North High School, Samuel Wagner of Johnsburg High School and Tori Olker of Richmond-Burton High School were also recipients of the State Bank of the Lakes Community Scholarship Awards.

Each student received $2,000 toward their four-year program at the college or university of choice.

Payments are made in annual installments of $500, with validation of continued enrollment.

“We are pleased to recognize this year’s winners and to help them pursue their dreams.”
