Palatine Masons donate food for the needy

Food pantry shelves become depleted soon after the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Many people make donations at the end of the year, but spring, summer, and fall are sparse times for the over 200 families who relay on the Palatine Township Food Pantry for their meal supplies.

The Palatine Masonic Lodge identified this need and made a commitment to gather food throughout the year to help needy families through the Food Pantry. At their twice-monthly meetings, the Palatine Masons bring non-perishable food for needy families in the community.
