A 24-year-old Glen Ellyn man faces additional charges of touching and grabbing teenage customers at a St. Charles Target after a 13-year-old saw his picture in the newspaper and notified police.

Nicholas E. Muniz, of the 200 block of May Street, was charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct after the girl came forward, St. Charles police announced Tuesday.

The girl told police on May 15 that she was groped at the Target, 3885 E. Main St., and that she recognized Muniz from a newspaper article, police said.

Muniz also faces misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct charges from incidents May 11 and 12, in which he is accused of touching a 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old girl, respectively, according to a police report.

Each charge carries a sentence of up to a year in jail if convicted.

Muniz is due in court June 21 and is free on bond while his case is pending.
