Injured teen found on Cary street

A teenage boy was transported to the hospital by helicopter Friday night after he was found lying in the middle of a residential street in Cary, authorities said.

The victim, who is about 15 or 16 years old, was suffering from head injuries when emergency crews found him about 8 p.m. at the intersection of Montana Drive and Bristol Way, according to Capt. Dennis Krenz of the Cary Fire Protection District.

It was not immediately clear how the boy was injured.

He was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Cary police did not release further details Friday night.
