The bee’s knees

It’s cuter than a little bug’s ear — or tastier, rather — it’s the bee’s knees cocktail. The bee’s knees cocktail is made with spirits from local Illinois distilleries, including North Shore Gin and Koval Chrysanthemum and sweetened with homegrown honey produced by the Marriott’s on-site 20 beehives and more than 2 million Italian five-striped honey bees. The bee’s knees cocktail is $12.

Agio’s new wines

There’s an updated wine list at Agio Bistro with some tasty choices that include sparkling Pierre Delize Champagne from France, $8 split; Villa Rosa Gavi D Gaci from Piedmont, Italy, $38 bottle; the fruity Honoro Vera Granacha from Calatayud, Spain, $7.50 glass or $30 bottle; and the full and oaky Peirano Heritage Estate cabernet sauvignon from Lodi, Calif., $10 glass or $40 bottle.
