John Walters for judge

Judge John Walters is currently serving the citizens of Kane County in the 16th Judicial District, Kane County. John was unanimously appointed to this position by the Supreme Court of the state of Illinois, and as a resident of Kane County and Elgin, I actively support the candidacy and retention of Judge John Walters.

I have lived in Elgin for more than 70 years and my family has been here for 140 years. We have served the greater Fox Valley area through our business for more than 92 years so I am aware of the many complexities and changes that Elgin and Kane County have gone through and will continue to face as the population continues to expand.

I have known Judge Walters for many years and am fully aware of the high standards he maintains in his personal and professional life. John served Elgin on the City Council for more than 22 years as well as serving so many people through his successful Elgin law practice for more than 30 years. John also is a member of his church choir and an ordained elder.

Judge Walters has shown through his many years of service to his church, his community, his clients and his family that he is truly a man of his word.

While serving Kane County as a judge, John has shown the same integrity, honesty, a full understanding of the law and fairness, and he deserves your support. A vote for Judge Walters is a vote for experience and character. His election will help to continue the very high standards of the court system in serving the citizens of Kane County.
