Ask the Sports Writers video with Bruce Miles

In this week's video Q&A edition of “Ask the Sports Writers,” we talk with Cubs beat writer Bruce Miles about the new regime with team president Theo Epstein and general manager Jed Hoyer. Bruce shares his thoughts on what he expects will be the highlights of the annual Cubs convention, which opens Friday evening at the Hilton Chicago. Bruce, who has covered the Cubs since 1988, offers his view of the depth with the team's starting pitching rotation, and he compares the overall talent level of the 2012 team to past clubs that were undergoing rebuilding plans. We also ask him whether Carlos Zambrano will be able to avoid any troubles under the wing of Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen. In closing, Bruce explains his view of the importance of changing the Cubs' culture vs. upgrading the talent.
