Chiros Care Goes on a Mission to Give Back to the Less Fortunate in the Dominican Republic
Thousands of children are abandoned each year in third world countries by parents who could no longer afford to provide for them. Doing its part to reach out to and support the less fortunate, Chiros Care Free Clinic is teaming together with ChiroMission for their October 2011 Mission Trip in a humanitarian effort to provide free chiropractic care and funds to help build an orphanage for abandoned children in the Dominican Republic.
Led by Chiro One Wellness Centers' Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) and volunteers, Chiros Care is traveling to the Dominican Republic to serve thousands of impoverished people in need. Chiros Care Free Clinic is a non-profit clinic providing complimentary chiropractic care to indigent, homeless and at-risk people of Chicago who do not have health insurance and who cannot afford medical care. Chiros Care has been serving the homeless population since May of 2010 and offers Chiropractic care and therapies to support the spine and nervous system as well as dietary and nutritional counseling. Chiros Care is open Fridays from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.at Heartland Health Outreach located at 1015 W. ChiroMission, INC. is a 501(c)(3) Not For Profit organization, that helps raise funds for the less fortunate. Their purpose is to serve the suffering and help provide a better standard of living with the use of natural, preventative Chiropractic Care as well as raising funds for Food, Shelter, Clothing, etc. for those in need. Donations go directly to the less fortunate in the name of humanity and proactive healthcare.
